Nancy Blake grew up in Southern California and graduated from college with a degree in teaching. She then used her credentials to teach first grade for four years. In 1965, Nancy and her first husband purchased a fast-food franchise, and ended up successfully owning a chain of restaurants. During that time, she taught during the day, and then would go to their various restaurants and help out where she could. She was also privileged to start and lead many Bible studies throughout her life. Nancy has six grown children and several grandchildren.
