Mark Meckler is the President for Citizens for Self Governance and co-founder of Tea Party Patriots. Mark blogs at MarkMeckler.com. Mark has a BA in English from San Diego State University and graduated with honors from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1988. He practiced real estate and business law for almost a decade. For the last eleven years of his legal career he specialized in Internet advertising law. Mark lives in rural northern California with his wife Patty and two children. Former Senator Tom Coburn from Oklahoma is also a former private practice medical physician. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma State University Medical School. Dr. Coburn and his wife, Carolyn, a former Miss Oklahoma, were married in 1968 and have three children and four grandchildren.
