Dr. Everett Piper
Dr. Everett Piper is the president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Dr. Piper received a B.A. from Spring Arbor University, a M.A. from Bowling Green State University, and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. Piper is the 2016 recipient of the Jeane Kirkpatrick Award for Academic Freedom. Dr. Piper is the author of Why I Am A Liberal, and Other Conservative Ideas and Not A Day Care: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth. A native of Hillsdale Michigan, Dr. Piper and his wife Marci, along with their two sons, have served at OKWUs since August of 2002.
