On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson interviews one of the survivors, Rebekah Gregory. She shares her account of that day, the horror of that fateful moment, and the gruesome injuries she sustained, which led her to have over 65 surgeries and the amputation of her left leg. Rebekah Gregory

Rebekah Gregory is a Christian author and inspirational speaker. In 2013, she survived the horrific bombings at the Boston Marathon, and underwent numerous surgeries and procedures, one of which was the amputation of her leg. Since then, she has used her experience to speak against evil to thousands of people across the country, encouraging them to turn their eyes toward Jesus. In 2017, Rebekah wrote her first book, Taking My Life Back, in which she details the attack, and her courageous fight back from pain to finding her purpose. Shortly after, she and her husband, Chris, launched Rebekah’s Angels Foundation, a non-profit organization created to aid in the mental health treatment of children and families suffering from trauma. Rebekah and her family make their home in Orlando, Florida.
