H.R. 1 is Still Lurking in the Shadows

Dr. James Dobson has previously shared about the dangers of H.R. 1, the disingenuously-named “For the People Act of 2021.” This bill — which passed the House with nearly unanimous support from Democrats and complete opposition from Republicans — seeks to dismantle our constitutional republic and solidify power for the Democratic party. It’s horrific.

Despite the unmistakable flaws in this bill, Democrats remain determined to ram it through the Senate, and most are willing to eliminate the filibuster to do so. If they are successful, our nation might never recover.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) made this statement about H.R. 1: “This bill is not designed to protect the right to vote. Instead, it’s a dangerous and brazenly partisan power grab designed by the Democrats to corruptly turn their current razor-thin majority into a much larger and permanent majority so they can enact the Green New Deal and other items on their deeply unpopular progressive wish list.”

As Dr. James Dobson has urged, “Now is the time to engage our legislators like never before—we must write, email, and call our senators to let them know that we unequivocally stand in opposition” to this horrific bill. He added, “We cannot afford to be idle while our country is hijacked by the Left-driven agenda of the Democrat Party. If we do not act now, this window of opportunity that we have to save what we hold dear will close quickly, and America’s shining light to the world will go out.”

Contact your representatives today and demand that they refuse to pass H.R. 1 into law. We must use our voice, or we will lose our voice.
