An analysis of President Trump’s historic address to Congress and how the reaction to it shows the real divide in America.
We do have one warning! Christians must not conclude that their work is done. The battle to save and preserve our country as “one nation under God” will continue to rage. We urge you to pray for the safety of President-elect Trump and his team. We also implore pastors and church leaders to boldly lead their flocks into the public square and stand firm for faith, family, and freedom.
On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson and Gary Bauer conclude their encouraging discussion about the outcome of the presidential election. They also discuss how the incoming administration’s policies will change the trajectory of our nation. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
According to social researcher Dr. George Barna, 72 percent of Christians voted in this year’s election. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson and his guest, Gary Bauer, discuss Donald Trump’s historic win, and how Christians stepped up to promote righteousness in the public square.
In this final episode of the Countdown to Decision 2024, JDFI contributors Alison Centofante and Joseph Backholm join Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy for JDFI, to discuss the ramifications of the election, the impact of the Countdown campaign, and what these things mean for our nation and the Christian church. Please watch and share as we seek to encourage Christians to continue putting their faith into action and engaging in the public square. This is not a time for Christ's followers to withdraw from cultural and policy issues. Instead, they should actively seek to influence such matters on behalf of Christ. For up-to-date information addressing these concerns, we encourage you to sign up for Gary's weekly policy updates.
Our countdown to the election is over, and the results are in. As you know, this tumultuous election year ended on November 5 with a resounding victory for the Trump-Vance ticket over Harris-Walz.
The final Electoral College count was 312 to 226, and Trump is now winning the popular vote by more than 3.2 million. No Republican president has accomplished this since 2004. In addition, he enjoys a clear majority in the US Senate and a likely narrow majority in the House of Representatives.
It is official: Donald Trump is the 47th president of the United States. The answer to the prayers of many has come. As Ronald Reagan once said, “It’s morning again in America.” The days of our nation suffering the ravages of another leftist administration are now past. The Democratic platform was essentially everything God hates—championing unlimited abortion, open borders, and “gender-affirming care.” Whether our homeland as we know it would have survived the enactment of that agenda is questionable. But God appointed a different outcome. Once again, He has shown incredible kindness to us. America is not finished.
