From Foster to Adoption: Finding a Forever Family

When Dave Donaldson was a boy, his father was tragically killed by a drunk driver and his mother had been seriously injured in the accident. As a result, Dave and his siblings were graciously invited to stay with the Davis family, who lived in a single-wide trailer. Upon their arrival, Mr. Davis told the kids, “You’re with family. You’re home!” On today’s edition of Family Talk, Donaldson, the founder and CEO of CityServe International, shares that he and his wife, Kristy, showed similar Christ-like compassion when they adopted a girl out of foster care.
