As citizens of the United States of America, we enjoy so many freedoms and liberties that we dare not take for granted. Let us never forget that our founding fathers leaned heavily on God and their Judeo-Christian heritage as they completed the final draft of the Declaration of Independence 247 years ago. It is the very reason why we, as Americans, can and do celebrate the 4th of July and call our nation “the land of the free!”
