Parents took to the streets of Canada last week in a "1 Million March 4 Children," organized by concerned Muslim and Christian leaders. Their mantra was "Leave the children alone!" Their demand was "the elimination of sexual orientation and gender identity curriculum, pronouns, gender ideology and mixed bathrooms in schools." JDFI stands with these Canadian parents who are fulfilling their God-given role of protecting their children.
Sadly, the parents and their children were accosted during the march by angry and threatening pro-LGBTQ+ protestors and their allies. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shamefully added fuel to the fire. He posted on social media, "Transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia have no place in this country. We strongly condemn this hate and its manifestations, and we stand united in support of 2SLGBTQI+ Canadians across the country—you are valid and you are valued."
Shame on Prime Minister Trudeau for demonizing and smearing Canadian parents who are simply trying to protect their children from classroom indoctrination into radical sexual ideologies.
The same rhetoric has been used against concerned parents here in the U.S. and other Western countries. President Biden has called parents concerned about their children's exposure to sexually explicit books, "book burners." The Biden Justice Department suggested parents who complained at school board meetings might be "domestic terrorists." The FBI set up a hotline number to report them. Moms for Liberty was even labeled a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a group whose leadership has close ties to the Biden administration.
College-star swimmer Riley Gaines, who was forced to compete against a man in women's swimming, has been physically assaulted and has received regular death threats because of her outspoken opposition to the radical transgender agenda.
All too often Western democracies under the control of left-wing, socialist governments side with radical sexual ideologues. They are deploying the full weight of government power against the God-given and natural rights of parents to raise their own children. If these governments can successfully crush parental rights in the upbringing of our children, we will have lost our freedom. JDFI urges parents to courageously resist this big government/trans alliance that is coming for our kids.
