Dr. James Dobson Issues Urgent Call to America’s Pastors on Last Sunday Before Midterms

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Nov 2, 2018—Dr. James Dobson, founder of the James Dobson Family Institute, issues the following statement:

"I feel a heavy burden about just how much is at stake for our nation in the coming days. Our families, our religious liberty, the fate of the unborn and our country at large all hang in the balance. In as much, I believe what many others have already said is indeed true: This is the most important midterm election of our lifetime.


With one final Sunday remaining before this historic election, I'm deeply convicted that Christians once again have an opportunity to do as Lincoln admonished, 'with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds…' In that spirit, I strongly urge pastors everywhere to encourage their congregations to first get informed, and then exercise their sacred, civic duty to 'get out and vote' on Tuesday. Please join me in praying that whatever the results of the election might be, that Christians would have their voices heard by going to the polls in record numbers, trusting God to bless the outcome."
