Kansas Value Them Both Amendment

On August 2nd, the voters of Kansas will decide the fate of the proposed VALUE THEM BOTH state constitutional amendment, which seeks to reclaim the right of the people to regulate abortion through their elected representatives. Many Kansans are unaware that this right was taken from them in 2019 when the Kansas Supreme Court created a “right” to abortion in the wording of the state’s constitution. This critical moment is a one-time opportunity for Kansans to reverse a great injustice. The amendment protects over 20 pro-life state laws that have been established over the last two decades.

In the book of Proverbs, we are told to, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” (Prov. 31:8). Now, more than ever, Christians need to be speaking the truth in their communities. God's truth about the inherent value of every mother and baby must be proclaimed not only in our homes, churches, and neighborhoods, but also at the ballot box.

Without the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment, Kansas will become a destination for out-of-state travelers seeking extreme abortions, even up to the moment of birth. This amendment is essential to defend the progress the people of Kansas have made.

Kansans, on August 2nd, “Yes” is the pro-life vote. So, vote “Yes” for the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment.

Thank you for allowing me to share this opportunity, and concern, with you. The eyes of our nation are watching.

Mob Attacks Christmas Tree Lighting

Sadly, in many parts of the world, it is nearly impossible for Christians to peacefully and safely celebrate the birth of Christ. From communist China to significant areas of the Islamic world, Christians are harassed by governments and threatened by mobs. Apparently, now Christians in Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA, have to think twice about gathering to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Biden’s Godless Thanksgiving

All of us at JDFI hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Thanksgiving traces its roots back to the pilgrims in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Our first President, George Washington, issued the Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1789, which described in its opening sentence what the occasion was all about. President Washington wrote: "Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor…"
