Republicans Take A Courageous Stand For Life

Last week we told you that the Biden administration wants to give millions of dollars to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). As reported by LifeNews.com, President Trump defunded UNFPA, in part, due to "its support for China's oppressive population control measures, which include forced abortions and 'illegal' third children."

Yet, a number of pro-life Republican lawmakers have introduced legislation to stop President Biden. Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) is the lead sponsor of the "No Taxpayer Funding for the United Nations Population Fund" Act.

"American tax dollars should never directly or indirectly support taking of innocent human life through abortion or the dehumanizing act of involuntary sterilization, and they certainly shouldn't be used to support the oppressive, America-hating Chinese Communist Party in any way whatsoever," said Roy.

More than 40 other House Republicans have joined Roy in supporting the pro-life bill, which would create a permanent ban on taxpayer funding to UNFPA.

Contact your representative today and ask if they are supporting this pro-life legislation.
