Students for Life Under Attack

Pray for pro-life college students! Students for Life of America (SFLA) reports that during the 2022-2023 academic year, SFLA chapters experienced a record-breaking number of free speech violations against their members.

Nearly 100 incidents were reported on U.S. campuses. Many of those incidents involved not just being shouted down, but also acts of vandalism, assault, bullying and theft against students defending the sanctity of life.

Olivia Garza, the legal correspondent for SFLA, told the conservative Daily Caller News Foundation that, "The abortion lobby has become more intolerant and hostile" since the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

Kristan Hawkins, SFLA President, asked, "What are we teaching our students when they can't use their constitutional rights on school campuses? Americans should be deeply concerned about the lack of pro-life free speech in educational settings."

Dr. James Dobson and JDFI are deeply concerned. We are also proud of these young men and women for their courage in defending innocent human life. They could teach some cowardly politicians a few things about how to stand strong in the face of opposition.

On Friday, three more pro-life activists, Joan Andrews Bell, 74; Jonathan Darnel, 40; and Jean Marshall, 72, were found guilty in federal court of blocking access to an abortion center in October of 2020. Five other pro-life activists involved in the same demonstration were also found guilty in August.
