There was a time when students would seek out teachers for extra help with their studies. Now, some teachers are recruiting students to advance their LGBTQ agenda.
Jessica Konen, a California mother, is taking legal action against two LGBTQ activist teachers, who "secretly manipulated" her 11-year-old daughter "into believing she was a transgender boy and gave tips on how to bind her breasts."
Thankfully, Konen's story had a happy ending, but not before the family walked through a nightmare. When her child was in seventh grade, Konen was summoned to a meeting with her daughter, a teacher, and the school principal. The teacher told Konen her daughter was "trans fluid" and accused her of not being "emotionally supportive." Konen subsequently discovered that her daughter had been researching suicide online.
Perhaps not surprisingly, separating her daughter from these sinister influences was the key to healing. When the pandemic resulted in closing schools, her daughter began to re-embrace her feminine identity. She is now enrolled in a different school and has resumed using her birth name and feminine pronouns.
But for many students, there is no happy ending, and this outrageous conduct isn't limited to California. Harmeet Dhillon, founder and CEO of the Center for American Liberty, which filed the case on behalf of Konen, said school officials in other states are also engaging in "secretive trans grooming."
