Cheryl Martin is an inspirational speaker, author, and host of the weekly radio program, Excellent Living. She received a BS in Speech and a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University. Cheryls career in news began when she was hired out of graduate school by NBC as a News Associate for its television station in Washington, DC. She joined BET in 1992 as an anchor, reporter, and producer. For five years she was the host of Lead Story, the networks signature news analysis program.
