Adrian Rogers was one of the most effective preachers, respected Bible teachers, and Christian leaders of his time. He was the pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where under his leadership, the church grew from 9,000 members in 1972 to over 29,000 upon his retirement in 2005. Pastor Rogers also served three terms as the president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He was founder and president of the TV and radio ministry, Love Worth Finding, which he founded in 1987. Pastor Rogers authored 18 books, including What Every Christian Ought to Know and Unveiling the End Times in Our Time. While he went home to be with the Lord in 2005, Pastor Rogers' broadcast ministry continues today, sharing the love of Christ with millions of people in more than 150 countries. He is survived by his widow, Joyce, four children, and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
