Marilyn Hontz is married to Paul Hontz, former senior pastor at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, Michigan. She and her husband have served at the same church for over 35 years. They have five adult married children. Marilyn has been featured on Focus on the Family, Midday Connection Radio and speaks at various retreats, conferences, and workshops. Marilyn graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1973 with a B.A. in Psychology and Biblical Literature. She has written two books, Listening for God and ShameLifter.
