Janet served as legislative director of Ohio Right to Life, where she successfully lobbied for the passage of the nation’s first partial-birth abortion ban. She also worked as national director of the Center for Reclaiming America, founded by Dr. D. James Kennedy, where she initiated the "Truth in Love Campaign," featuring ex-homosexuals in newspaper and television ads.
