Finding the Strength to Forgive

Your spouse knows you better than anyone, so when an argument occurs, words can be said that cut deep and cause excruciating pain. The wounds can worsen if you let your anger turn into bitterness. In this video, Brenen and Morgan Beeler explain why these emotions are so dangerous. Resentment can rot your mind and soul from the inside, but you can overcome this trap if you‘ll follow our Savior’s example while on the cross. He was beaten, tortured, and crucified, and He had every reason to be angry. Instead, he did something truly remarkable. This solution is expanded in the devotional “Finding the Strength to Forgive” on page 187 of Dr. James and Shirley Dobson’s book, Night Light for Couples.
