The New Black Robed Regiment – Part 2

In the days leading up to the Revolutionary War, Christian pastors often led the cry for liberty. They were in fact the boldest and most respected men in their communities. America is a Christian Nation

Contrary to the false claims of today's secularists, America is a Christian nation, as the Supreme Court declared in 1892. Indeed, 52 out of the 55 signers of the Constitution were evangelical believers. For example, Benjamin Rush not only said, "I rely upon the merits of Jesus Christ for a pardon of all my sins," but also stated that the Constitution "is as much the work of a Divine Providence as any of the miracles recorded in the Old and New Testament." Today's guest, Dr. Robert Jeffress, points to Psalm 33:12 which says, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
