This week Dr. James Dobson and the entire staff at JDFI will join millions of pro-life Americans in celebrating the one-year anniversary of the legal "death" of Roe v. Wade. The Dobbs decision on June 24, 2022, has, by some estimates, resulted in the birth of 60,000 babies, each wonderfully made in the image of God, babies who otherwise would have been destroyed by abortion on demand.

Sadly, it seems every day there is another example of corporate America bowing at the altar of "wokeness." It is refreshing to actually have a reason to thank an iconic company for doing something right.

A year ago, there was an unprecedented leak of the draft Supreme Court opinion in the Dobbs case that ended the fiction that our Constitution contains a hidden right to abortion. The leak shocked court experts and there were immediate calls to find the culprit. Because of how draft court decisions are handled, the leaker was likely one of the court clerks, or even one of the justices. Sadly, an investigation has not resulted in finding that person.

Pro-life advocates, including JDFI, are disappointed in the Supreme Court's 7-2 decision to preserve, for now, continued access to the abortion pill mifepristone. Only Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the decision.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, tens of thousands of innocent babies in America have been saved from abortion.

Another possible showdown at the Supreme Court on the abortion issue now appears likely after two separate federal judges issued conflicting opinions. The conflict involves the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) approval of mifepristone, a powerful abortion-inducing drug that reportedly is used in half of all U.S. abortions.
