A commanding officer of the Arkansas Air National Guard has just resigned from his position because of abortion. Here's the back story.

Pro-life pregnancy centers continue to be maligned by the media, pro-abortion politicians, and abortion profiteers such as Planned Parenthood. These pro-life centers are often accused of "manipulating" women to choose life for their preborn children. Critics say they use deceptive tactics, but it is the pro-abortion movement that is lying. And their lies have consequences.

Why have those of us who believe in the sanctity of life lost seven straight state referenda across America since the overturn of Roe v. Wade? The pro-life movement is working overtime to answer that question. If the trend continues in 2024, we could again experience a gigantic disappointment with a pro-abortion president and a pro-abortion majority in the Senate. And, of course, that would mean more innocent pre-born children will die.

Pro-abortion extremists have shocked the pro-life movement in a string of victories on referenda across America. At least four states have amended their constitutions to permit virtually unlimited abortions, including Ohio, Michigan, and California. The victories were the result of pro-abortion forces massively outspending the pro-life side, and low voter turnout among Christians and conservatives.

Well, that didn't take long. On November 7th, 56% of Ohio voters dealt a blow to its pro-life reputation by voting to amend their state constitution to permit most abortions.

After yet another disappointing result for pro-life candidates and ballot initiatives in the 2023 "off-year" elections, the media narrative on abortion is just as wrong today as it has always been. Now there is a rush by many in the professional political class to find "common ground" on abortion.

I worked for Ronald Reagan for all eight years of his presidency and I also worked closely with Dr. James Dobson. President Reagan was a stalwart defender of the sanctity of life. He even wrote a monograph opposing abortion while he was still President of the United States entitled, "Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation."
