Hopefully you have a memory of sitting at the feet of your grandparents listening to stories about the "olden days." And those moments truly are important: they provide a sense of connection to faith and family. Today, you'll hear a very special , and harrowing , family story that highlights how the faith of previous generations continues to impact us. Be encouraged to embrace your own history and heritage.

Kristan Hawkins is the president of Students for Life, a grass roots pro-life organization which has over 1,200 local chapters in all 50 states. She was first recruited by Students for Life in 2006 to launch their full-time operation throughout the country. Kristan graduated summa cum laude from Bethany College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She frequently speaks on a variety of topics, including feminism, abortion, disability advocacy, healthcare for the disabled and public policy at pro-life events, and on college campuses across the U.S. Kristan is a media analyst and served on then-candidate Donald Trump’s Pro-Life Advisory Council. Her proudest accomplishments are being married to her husband, Jonathan, and raising their four children—Gunner, Bear, Maverick, and Gracie. In her spare time, Kristan raises awareness for cystic fibrosis, a disease shared by her children, Gunner and Gracie.
