Host: Dr. James Dobson

September 16, 2020

In 1772, British poet and clergyman, John Newton, penned the famous words, "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me." Dr. James Dobson and best-selling author and Christian apologist, Lee Strobel, observe how grace is central to the Christian faith. Lee also shares his personal experience with this most undeserved gift from God.

Meet the Guest

Lee Strobel

Lee Strobel is a teacher, speaker, award-winning journalist and the author of several books, including The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith. Strobel has frequently appeared on national networks, including Discovery, CNN, PBS, ABC and FOX; and was a featured guest on ABC’s 20/20. He also wrote and produced his own TV show, Faith Under Fire. Pursuing degrees in both journalism and law, Lee was a devout atheist on a mission to disprove God. What he didn’t expect was his life being completely transformed when his research led him to a contradictory conclusion: that God is real and there is more evidence to support this belief than not. Lee subsequently committed his life to Christ and now dedicates his time to reaching other skeptics of the faith with the truth of Jesus Christ. Lee and his wife, Leslie, have been married for over 40 years. They reside in Texas and have two grown children and several grandchildren.
