Teenagers are dying because of recreational drugs like never before. According to the CDC, “The rate of overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids in 2021 was nearly 22 times the rate in 2013.” With an increase in the availability of illegal fentanyl, it's even more serious, as death can come after just one use.
