With the election of President Joe Biden, the temptation for conservatives might be to withdraw, pull the sheets over our heads, and ask God to wake us up in four years. But Christian talk show host Janet Parshall urges us to stay rooted in the Bible, remain engaged in the culture as Christ prescribes in John 17, and fervently pray and intercede for our leaders, even if we don't especially like them or agree with their policies.
In his February newsletter entitled, "Where Do We Go from Here?," Dr. James Dobson underscores his frustration that the U.S. Supreme Court sidestepped the issue of election integrity, and that both Georgia Senate seats were won by leftist Democrats in that state's January runoff election. As a result, Americans will be burdened with a radical agenda. His advice? Like the faithful farmer who weathers the heat and rain, we who are conservative Christians must continue to "stay in the field",knowing that God gives strength to the weary.
February Newsletter 2021: Where Do We Go From Here?
In order to bring down a building, demolition crews use a process called implosion to weaken the structure's support systems from within. Today, Pastor Robert Jeffress explains how symbolically that effective form of destruction is happening to America. He walks through 3 key examples of our countries' outright rejection of its Judeo-Christian roots.
January Newsletter 2021: America In The Balance
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, "Few people enjoy what I think sometimes Americans take for granted, our capacity to worship and practice our faith." Two-thirds of the world's people live with limited religious liberty. Listen as Pompeo shares his Christian faith and his concern about Chinese religious oppression.
"If we don't turn back, … I believe what we've known as America is going to be withdrawn: a new day, humbling before our enemies, a breakdown of prosperity, and a breakdown of peace and order." Those are the prophetic words of Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn about his new book The Harbinger II.
In his conversation with Dr. Dobson, Rabbi Cahn notes that the only time in history when people were told to go inside their houses because a plague was passing over the land was 3,000 years ago during The Passover. Just as the Jews were instructed to turn back to God in Egypt, today, in the face of COVID, Americans need to turn to Jesus, our Passover lamb. He is our only hope.
In 2019, New York legalized the killing of babies up to the time of birth and, disturbingly, they lit up the Empire State Building to celebrate. That was a harbinger or warning. Before the year was out, COVID-19 came upon America, and hit New York especially hard, becoming the center of the plague. Is God now judging America?
Dr. James Dobson talks with Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn about his new book Harbinger II: The Return. Deuteronomy 28:15 warns, "If you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all His commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you." Rabbi Cahn declares, "America has been withering away spiritually on the inside. The hour is late!" It's time to repent of our sins.
Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn said, "We had our 9/11, a shake-up call. There's a time period where going to either come back to God, return, and repent or continue away from God and head to judgment and calamity. Our nation has been accelerating in its fall from God." In light of COVID-19, the riots, and our divisive election, Dr. Dobson talks to Rabbi Cahn about his newest book, The Harbinger II, in which he outlines the nine harbingers, or warnings, to America that mirror the warnings in the last days of Ancient Israel.
As Americans cast our votes, we'll not only be choosing our leaders, but determining the very future of our nation. Best-selling author Joel Rosenberg considers whether the United States is headed for revival or judgement, and implores believers to humble themselves and pray.
