Lisa reveals how she and her husband, John, turned his vision of simply sharing Christian content into a global ministry that distributes discipleship tools and literature around the world, free of charge. Rebuilding America: Evangelism on Capitol Hill – Part 1

After attending a Youth for Christ Bible study, Ralph Drollinger, a high school basketball player, became a follower of Jesus Christ. For the next four years, NBA teams offered contracts to the seven-foot-two-inch tall athlete. Instead of taking the big money, Ralph joined Athletes in Action and played with the best amateur basketball teams across the globe, even sharing the gospel at halftime. That passion for evangelism has continued in Ralph’s life. On today’s edition of Family Talk, he and his wife, Danielle, share their hearts for those who are lost and have not yet encountered Jesus. Together, the Drollingers founded Capitol Ministries, a non-profit organization with a mission to minister to political leaders with God’s Word.

Band of Brothers: Stronger Together

On today’s edition of Family Talk, Christian comedian Dennis Swanberg says that many men are lonely and they struggle with regret and secret fears. Proverbs 27:17 declares, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” That’s why all Christian men need to resist the temptation to isolate, and should find a trustworthy accountability partner. Swanberg points to the biblical examples of Paul and Luke as well as Silas and Timothy. When men confess their sins in transparency to God and to one another, they can be healed.

Give Them Unshakable Faith – Are Your Kids Prepared? Part 1

The vast majority of young people do not believe in absolute truth, that Christ is divine, or that the Bible is the Living Word. Training the Next Generation to Lead like Christ

Why was the 2022 March for Life so well attended by enthusiastic high school kids, College students, and young adults from varied backgrounds? On today's edition of Family Talk, Jeff Hunt, director of the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University, claims the reason is simple. These young people who are that vital next generation, grew up seeing the sonogram pictures of their baby brothers and sisters taped to the refrigerator door before they ever met them. Therefore, this new generation of pro-lifers rejects the lie that babies in the womb are just a clump of cells that you can get rid of without any remorse or guilt.

On today's edition of Family Talk, author John Rosemond shares tips from his book, Parenting by The Book: Biblical Wisdom for Raising Your Child. And he's going to live this way until his attitude improves, and remains improved for at least a month. It's showing confidence in your authority.

She is Yours

As Christian parents, we have two primary responsibilities. The first is to evangelize our kids, revealing God's character through word and deed. The second, as our children's stewards, is to prayerfully release them back to the Lord. On today's program, Dr. James Dobson presents one of his favorite interviews from the Family Talk archives, a conversation he had with Jonathan and Wynter Pitts, just one year before Wynter's sudden passing. Together they examine the Pitts' book, She is Yours, which encourages moms and dads to breathe a sigh of relief because God is in control of their Daughters' lives. Abba is the one Who protects them, and He is the one Who will guide their future.
