The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is one of the largest federal bureaucracies. Its budget dwarfs that of the Pentagon and it employs more than 80,000 people. Because of the massive scope of HHS, its policies have a huge ripple effect throughout the entire federal government and the country.
Three of the most powerful LGBTQ activist organizations in America have just issued formal 2024 reelection endorsements of President Joe Biden.
Here's an update to our report last week regarding California Governor Gavin Newsom's surprising veto of a radical transgender bill. Newsom continues to be the elected Democrat most often mentioned by party insiders as the overwhelming favorite to be the Democrat nominee in 2024 if Joe Biden steps down for some reason.
If you are part of a Christian family hoping and praying to be able to provide foster care to a child, you may very well be blocked from doing so by the Biden administration.
California recently passed an outrageous bill that would require judges in child custody cases to take into consideration whether a parent affirmed a child's gender identity. For example, under this law, if a seven-year-old boy told his divorcing parents he was actually a girl, the parent who sought help for the child to overcome this delusion would lose custody in the divorce.
Parents took to the streets of Canada last week in a "1 Million March 4 Children," organized by concerned Muslim and Christian leaders. Their mantra was "Leave the children alone!" Their demand was "the elimination of sexual orientation and gender identity curriculum, pronouns, gender ideology and mixed bathrooms in schools." JDFI stands with these Canadian parents who are fulfilling their God-given role of protecting their children.
The Biden administration continues its move forward with their plan to severely undermine a key federal law that prevents sexual discrimination. The law, referred to as Title IX, was passed in 1972 to protect women's educational opportunities. The federal Department of Education proposed new rules under Title IX that would apply the protection to men claiming they have become women through "transitioning." This has sparked outrage around the country. JDFI has been working tirelessly to pressure the Biden administration to protect women and girls.
There were dramatic hearings on Capitol Hill on so-called, "gender-affirming care" for children. One witness, Chloe Cole, made a dramatic plea to members of Congress to save young women like herself, who were subjected to horrific surgeries and powerful chemicals in the name of gender-affirming care.
The terribly misnamed "Equality Act" is back. This proposed law is the number one legislative goal of the LGBTQ+ lobby. The reason is simple: The legislation would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by adding the homosexual "alphabet soup" as a protected class under federal law.
The Biden administration is attempting to deprive low-income children of nourishment unless their Christian preschool agrees to LGBTQ+ demands. Do I have your attention?
