Standing Strong for Life, Part 2

Returning on today's edition of Family Talk, is Dr. William Lile, a Christian obstetrician and gynecologist, documents 2,500 successful abortion pill reversals through AbortionPillReversal.com. Each baby saved is a precious victory against the abortion industry. Dr. Lile explains that those who support abortion are clearly going against the Lord’s design. Not surprisingly, they're attacking the babies created in the very image of God. Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

God of the Hurricane

Recently, we have been reminded that the earth we walk can be unstable ground. God speaks to this instability in Psalm 75:3: “When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars.”

This testimony is deeply relevant in our current national moment. We have watched as two consecutive hurricanes—Helene and Milton—have ravaged countless towns and cities in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee. Tragically, news outlets are reporting that Hurricane Helene caused a tremendous loss of life and around $50 billion worth of damage. The emotional, spiritual, and psychological costs of these disasters go far beyond any numerical statistic.

The Eclipse of God – Part 1

Many would not refute that our country has become unrecognizable and that our culture is unraveling before our eyes. Today on Family Talk, Gary Bauer talks with Dr. Erwin Lutzer, author and pastor emeritus of The Moody Church, about his latest book, The Eclipse of God: Our Nation’s Disastrous Search for a More Inclusive Deity (And What We Must Do About It). Dr. Lutzer explains, "we need a fresh vision of who God is and not the God we just wish He was.” Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” Because you care about our nation and standing up for the truth of the Bible, you won’t want to miss this critical discussion!
