What equipped Kayleigh McEnany to answer the tough questions as the White House press secretary? She studied politics at Georgetown and Oxford, received a Harvard law degree, and was an unapologetic Christian. On today's edition of Family Talk, the author of For Such a Time as This explains that Jesus Christ was her rock as she daily sparred with a hostile White House press. Her academic training and faith empowered her to navigate the COVID pandemic, the riots, and the contentious 2020 presidential election. Kayleigh's life verse, 2 Corinthians 4:17, says, "For your light and momentary troubles are achieving for you a greater glory that will outweigh them all."
On today's edition of Family Talk, Dr. Christina Francis, chairwoman of the board of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, tells our own Dr. Tim Clinton that she is hopeful that Roe v. Wade can be overturned, depending on the result of the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court case, to be decided this June. AAPLOG submitted a legal brief in the Mississippi case, supporting the state's ban on abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The pro-life OB-GYNs warn that post-abortive women face a seven times greater likelihood of suicide. Dr. Francis declares, "Abortion is not healthcare, because pregnancy is not a disease. It is a natural process of the body!"
Did you know that before Roe v. Wade, the once reputable American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists opposed killing babies in the womb? Tragically, the group by and large became aggressively pro-abortion once the egregious law was passed in 1973. In the late 2000s, the organization declared that if a physician will not perform or refer an abortion, he or she is unethical, and should even lose his or her license. On today's edition of Family Talk, Dr. Christina Francis explains that the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists was formed to reaffirm the value and dignity of individual human life in all stages of growth and development. Their pro-life members, who are all doctors, assert that science is demonstrably on the side of life , from the moment of conception.
On today's edition of Family Talk, political commentator, news personality, and podcast host, Liz Wheeler, firmly declares that what we are facing today in our culture is a blatant attempt to delegitimize our nation. Citing the 1619 Project, Critical Race Theory and the transgender movement, Wheeler believes there is an outright agenda to destroy institutions that have defined our nation since its origin. Despite the declining state of our country, after having listened to the oral arguments at the Supreme Court about the Mississippi case concerning the ban on abortions after 15 weeks gestation, Wheeler believes we are finally on the cusp of Roe v. Wade being overturned and living in a post-Roe America.
Gigi Sohn is President Joe Biden’s nominee for commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission. If she is confirmed, conservative media will have plenty to worry about.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D — N.Y.) and his allies are hoping to pass several election bills before the midterm election.
Those bills, if passed, would obliterate state voter ID
Despite the fact that our mainstream society has continually celebrated and lauded abortion as a normal part of life, there's reason for hope! On today's edition of Family Talk, Jeanne (JEAN-ee) Mancini, President of March for Life, says that 60% of Americans oppose taxpayer-funded abortions and the Supreme Court seems open to overturn Roe v Wade. Thankfully, Gen Z has become the pre-born baby's biggest advocate. The 3D-sonogram pictures of these preborn children, created in the image of God have revealed their humanity. Indeed, the theme of this year's March for Life, slated for January 21st, is "Equality Begins in the Womb."
