Is Atheism Dead? Part 2

In 1966, Time Magazine featured a cover story asking the question, "Is God Dead?" On today's edition of Family Talk, Christian talk show host Eric Metaxas mirrors that provocative cover with a question of his own: "Is Atheism Dead?" His new book of the same name explains that science makes the case for God's existence. For example, Dr. Stephen Collins, an archeologist, discovered the biblical Sodom complete with five feet of ash, melted bits of brick, and charred human bone. Scientifically, it could not have been caused by a fire or a volcano. The evidence points to the sobering truth of the Lord's judgment in Genesis 19.

Is Atheism Dead? Part 1

On today's edition of Family Talk, Christian radio host Eric Metaxas, author of Is Atheism Dead?, declares that science makes the case for God in this fine-tuned universe. For example, did you know that Jupiter, which is 400 million miles away from earth, enables us to live? This gas giant is so massive and has such a strong gravitational pull that it attracts the asteroids, meteorites, and comets that would otherwise bombard earth and destroy all forms of life.

Training the Next Generation to Lead like Christ

Why was the 2022 March for Life so well attended by enthusiastic high school kids, College students, and young adults from varied backgrounds? On today's edition of Family Talk, Jeff Hunt, director of the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University, claims the reason is simple. These young people who are that vital next generation, grew up seeing the sonogram pictures of their baby brothers and sisters taped to the refrigerator door before they ever met them. Therefore, this new generation of pro-lifers rejects the lie that babies in the womb are just a clump of cells that you can get rid of without any remorse or guilt.
