Democrats “All In” On Socialism

Once upon a time, Americans would have scoffed at the idea that a major political party could successfully promote elements of socialism.

It is no longer “once upon a time.” The Biden administration is continuing to push for increasing amounts of government control in all areas of life, and Democrat constituents are welcoming it with open arms.

A recent Fox News poll found that 59 percent of Democrat registered voters polled had a positive view of socialism, compared to just 49 percent who felt that way about capitalism. In contrast, 67 percent of Republicans polled viewed capitalism favorably, while only 8 percent had a favorable view of socialism.

One can only wonder if these proponents of socialism understand the cost. Because beyond its crippling economic effects, socialism takes something of even greater value: our freedom.

Consider these words we’ve shared previously:

Socialism hands the government the keys to our economy, our cultural institutions, and our most cherished possession: our freedom. We are blessed to live in America, in a constitutional republic that guarantees government protection of certain inalienable rights that are bestowed by our Creator. We must stand firm against political or cultural efforts to surrender this freedom or to transform the government from the guarantor of our rights to the source of those rights.

Midterm elections are just around the corner. Will we continue to welcome socialism into this nation, or will we return to our founding principles? The choice is ours.
