In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom with Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy at the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute, Bauer suggests the NFL's reaction to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker's recent commencement speech at Benedictine College (a Catholic university) is, at best, an unfortunate misunderstanding, and,at worst, a gruesome anti-Christian lecture from the NFL's DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) bureaucrat.

In this week's episode, Gary Bauer asks Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, about the many dangers facing America. "In today's society, we are our own gods. We have our own truths. We are our own ultimate authority," says Schilling. Not only is this self-absorbed narcissism infecting the culture at large, it has wormed its way into America's churches, added Schilling. So, what is the antidote for this disturbing trend?
